The first thing many people desire for in the cold winter mornings is a cup of hot, aroma coffee or black tea. Unfortunately, sometimes your cup of coffee or black tea may cause spills and stains, but don't let this ruin your mood. Your adorable blue sweater or beige carpet don't need to be thrown away you can easily restore them following these simple cleaning tips.

The first thing you need to do to minimise the damage is to blot the spill with a clean, white cloth. Absorb as much of the black tea as possible. Ensure that you work outside of the stain inside. Thus way you'll avoid spreading the spill.
To remove black tea stains from your carpet, you need to supply yourself with a bowl, a few old towels, vinegar, mild liquid washing detergent and water. Mixing all ingredients you'll have the perfect carpet cleaning solution that will remove the black tea stains and restore the original look of your carpet.
Make a mixture of 1 teaspoon of the washing detergent and 1 cup of lukewarm water.
To apply the cleaning solution on the black tea stains, you'd better use a sponge. Don't rub, just sponge the affected area. Blot the stain with one of the towels to prevent your carpet from getting saturated.
To eliminate any remaining black tea stains, make a carpet cleaning solution of 1/3 cup of white vinegar and 2/3 cup of lukewarm water.
Again apply the mixture on the carpet stain using a sponge. Blot with another old, clean towel.
